However, connecting temporary electrical installations to the building’s supply may involve Licensed Electrical Workers (LEWs) representing both the event organiser and the building or venue.
Submission, inspection and approval requirements can differ from one venue to another. Organisers should therefore check with the venue owner or building management early in the planning stage to understand the required electrical submissions, LEW involvement and approval procedures before arranging temporary power or electrical works.
